Ray Fuller - Stormy Mountain Ranch

Ray Fuller

The Fuller family has been farming near the pristine waters of Lake Chelan in Washington state since 1962. In 1980, Ray Fuller took the lead in the family's orchard business. A strong believer in organics, Ray began transitioning his orchards to organic long before it was popular to do so. In fact, Ray was just the second person in Washington state to become a certified organic grower, having earned his certificate in 1988.

There's no doubt that Ray is a pioneer in the organic industry. By getting an early start in organics, Ray had to find his own solutions for pests and other fruit problems. Today, he relies on natural predators like Kestrel falcons and beneficial insects to control pest populations. Ray's commitment to organic farming and advancing the industry as a whole earned him the Organic Trade Association 2008 Organic Farmer of the Year award.

Ray farms a variety of organic apples, pears, and cherries, focusing on quality and flavor above all else. Look for Ray's Artisan Organics fruits at a store near you!
