World Famous Apple Varieties

Believe it or not, there are more than 7,500 different apple varieties grown worldwide. Here at Stemilt, we are very selective about which apple varieties we grow and the locations that they call home. Even though Washington is the premier location for farming apples (with its arid climate, rich volcanic soils and fresh mountain water supply), we take things one step further by planting each apple variety in a location that meets the specific trees' nutrient needs.
