sweet ApricotsApricots are drupes, or stone fruits, and are closely related to cherries, plums, peaches, and nectarines. They are bright yellow to orange, nearly fuzz-less, and have an occasional red blush. They are smaller in size than peaches and nectarines and well-known for having balanced sweet-tart flavors. Apricots are great for fresh eating, salads, freezing, canning, and baking.
