AppleSweets® sliced apples are made from fresh apples that come direct from Stemilt’s eastern Washington orchards. As a premium tree-fruit grower with nearly a century of apple growing expertise under our belts, Stemilt makes sure each slice starts with the right apple.  The result?  Our sliced apples can stay crisp, juicy and bright-white for up to three weeks.

Some of the latest and greatest technologies are used to make AppleSweets. Stemilt’s Precision Apple Slicing System (P.A.S.S.) cuts each apple with the precision of a robotic surgical knife. While other systems severely damage the apple’s cell structure during slicing, the accuracy of P.A.S.S. keeps the cell structure intact.

Every apple slice is bathed in Nature Seal™, an all-natural, FDA-approved, calcium/mineral solution, which adds vitamin-C to the fruit while keeping slices white. Nature Seal is a well-known solution used on many fruits and vegetables to extend product freshness.

AppleSweets help satisfy those sweet-snack cravings. Not only are sliced apples a nutritious snack, but they come in a variety of tasty flavors. Choose from non-flavored slices like Delightfully Sweet and Totally Tart or naturally flavored sliced apples like County Fair Caramel and Mom’s Apple Pie. The best part? Stemilt’s patented flavoring process uses natural ingredients to add flavor to the apple slices, without adding calories or fat.

To stay fresh, Stemilt’s sliced apples are always handled in a 34-degree cold chain. Each package has a “use-by” date so consumers know how long their AppleSweets will stay crisp and bright-white. Coupled by our special packaging, AppleSweets will be perfect to eat for at least three weeks from the day they were packed.
