Stemilt has been growing organic tree fruits since 1989. Today we call our line of organic fruit Artisan Organics, because our goal is to use an artisanal approach to achieve the ultimate flavor experience for consumers.

A little organic background...
Stemilt built the first designated organic packing plant in the state. Located at Chelan Falls, Washington, this packing facility is dedicated to handling only organic tree fruits assuring that:
- Artisan Organics are never packed on the same line as conventionally-grown tree fruits
- Artisan Organics receive handling specific to organic products
In addition....
- Stemilt was one of the first tree fruit organizations to invest heavily in organics
- Today Stemilt farms over 2,000 acres of organic fruit, making us one of the largest organic growers in Washington
- Today Stemilt produces 26% of Washington's organic apples and 32% of the Northwest's organic pears
- Stemilt's entire peach and nectarine crop is grown organically
