Our Orchard Diversity

From Central California, to south Central Washington, clear to the Canadian border, Stemilt grows tree fruits in the very best sites to maximize the growing conditions and production microclimates for every variety. That's why Stemilt can specialize in some of the most unique apple, pear, cherry and summer fruit varieties. We have the locations that count - for all types of fruits!

Take our cherry orchards, for instance. Stemilt has orchards from 700 feet to 3,400 feet above sea level. Our season starts in California in May and extends into late-August on Stemilt Hill in Washington. Our high-elevation orchards allow us to grow late-season cherries, bringing you World Famous Cherries all summer long.

Stemilt's commitment to selecting the right orchard locations carries over into our apples, pears, peaches, and nectarines. Stemilt apples are grown in eastern Washington, an area known around the world for producing apples with the perfect crunch, juice and flavor. Our delectable fall and winter pears come straight from the best pear growing region in the world, the Upper Wenatchee River Valley. And don't forget about our Artisan Organics peaches and nectarines. Grown in the Columbia Basin, long summer days and cooler nights enhance the intense flavors and juices of these naturally farmed fruits.
