Our Families & Partners

A history of family.

Back in the early 1900s, the Mathison family planted the first fruit trees on their 160-acre Stemilt Hill homestead. The Mathison family cultivated tree fruits through five generations and they continue their farming tradition today. Stemilt packs the Mathisons’ fruit along with fruit from partnered growers throughout Central Washington.

To help bring these apples, pears, cherries, and stone fruits to our customers’ tables, we’ve teamed up with organizations such as Sesame Workshop® , creators of children’s TV program Sesame Street, to spread the word about our products. This partnership helps us better educate children and parents about the health benefits of eating tree fruits. We’ve spread our nutrition message even further through relationships with the Produce for Better Health Foundation and others.

We like the way these collaborations work, and if you have ideas you’d like to explore with us, let’s talk. We’d love to hear from you.
