Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cups fresh Artisan Organic peach chunks
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Cream together 1/2 cup butter, 1 egg and 1 cup of brown sugar. Then mix in, 1 cup of buttermilk, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 2 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Add 2 cups of fresh peaches and pour into a greased and floured 13x9 baking pan.
  3. For the topping, mix together 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup of chopped nuts and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
  4. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.
