7568 CherryMocktail You guys, it is HOT outside. Our cute, quaint little town of Wenatchee is experiencing a wicked heat wave that doesn’t seem to be letting up anytime and as a pregnant lady – well, that’s just not good. In light of this heat, my pregnant belly and swollen feet, our Stemilt team set out on a quest to create the perfect Cherry Mocktail AND Cherry Cocktail and you know what? We did it. We found the PERFECT drink recipe for both tequila (from what I hear) and mocktail lovers (I can vouch for this one).
Cherry Margarita
The first – a Cherry Margarita – is THE must have drink this summer. I won’t know how this cherry tequila cocktail tastes until next summer, but my co-workers say this drink is a pretty dang tasty way to celebrate summer’s finest fruit.  With the juice of one lime, a smidge of agave nectar, triple sec, and of course tequila, a splash of orange seltzer and Stemilt’s world famous dark-sweet cherries, this drink will not disappoint (according to my co-workers and husband). They say it has the tangy, sweet flavor that you crave in a margarita plus it is extremely refreshing!

The Cherry Mocktail – a version I did try and LOVE – was absolutely delicious. It was tart, sweet and highlighted the cherry’s flavor profile perfectly. With only lime juice, light agave nectar, a splash of orange seltzer and a couple of delish World Famous Cherries, this mocktail will make any pregnant lady’s taste buds scream for joy! However, if you crave something a little more sweet, add a more agave nectar and a little less lime juice to lighten the tartness load.
