  1. Muddle one of the apple slices in the bottom of a highball glass.
  2. Fill the glass with ice and top with rum, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Stir briefly to combine.
  3. Sprinkle the remaining apple slice with cinnamon and drop into the glass. Serve.
