Get 3 easy apple and pear snack ideas (for adults and kids alike)!

Featuring our Rushing Rivers® pears and Fuji apples, you’ll learn how to whip up Pear and Prosciutto Bites, a Caramel Apple Smoothie and Pear “Fries” with Cinnamon Dip. Now that’s what we call next-level snacks!

Ingredients

  • 1 c unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/4 c vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1 Stemilt Fuji apple with peel, sliced
  • 2 tbsp sugar free caramel sauce
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp sweetner of choice - granulated sugar, monk fruit sweetener etc.
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • Whipped cream, caramel sauce and cinnamon for garnish

Take on snack time with this Caramel Apple Smoothie featuring Fuji apples.

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend for 40 seconds or until smooth.
  2. Pour in a glass and top with whipped cream, granola and cinnamon.
  3. Finish by drizzling caramel sauce over the top.
  4. Enjoy!

Instructions

  1. Slice the pears in half from top to bottom. Slice into 1/4 - 1/2 inch thick pieces.
  2. Place each pear slice on a large serving platter.
  3. Remove the prosciutto from the package and transfer to a cutting board and slice each piece in half. Fold each piece in half. There should be 12 folded slices.
  4. Build the prosciutto bites by placing 1 slice of mozzarella cheese on top of each pear. Follow by placing a folded slice of prosciutto on top of the mozzarella cheese.
  5. Drizzle each pear with a tbsp of balsamic glaze and garnish with a fresh piece of thyme.
  6. Enjoy!

  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

These are a healthier take on "fries" featuring Stemilt pears.

Instructions

  1. Slice the pears in half from top to bottom then cut into eighths.
  2. Place the pears in a medium bowl. Pour over the olive oil and mix with a wooden spoon until coated.
  3. Heat a grill pan or grill over medium heat.
  4. Place the pears on the grill or on the grill pan for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  5. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl add the room temperature cream cheese, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg and powdered swerve.
  6. Using a hand-held mixer, mix together on medium/high speed until all the ingredients are combined and smooth.
  7. Place the fries on a platter and the dip in a serving bowl.
  8. Dip each pear fry into the dip and enjoy!
