If you’ve been wondering what the Instant Pot is all about, then you’ve come to the right place. We’ve created three mouthwatering recipes using our tropical Piñata® apples, super sweet Fuji apples and perfectly sweet-tart Pink Lady® apples. All you need is an Instant Pot and 25 minutes and before you know it, you’ll be diving into a savory apple honey pork tenderloin, steamy steel cut oatmeal or a simple, yet delicious cinnamon applesauce!

Instant Pot Applesauce

Ingredients

  • 12 Fuji apples
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon (or more if desired)
  • 1 tbsp raw honey
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 3/4 c filtered water
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

All you need is an Instant Pot and 25 minutes and before you know it, you’ll be diving into a simple, yet delicious cinnamon applesauce!

Instructions

  1. Wash, prep and peel (if desired) all apples. Quarter and toss them into the Instant Pot’s steel bowl.
  2. Add butter, cinnamon, honey, lemon juice, sea salt and water into the steel bowl with the apples.
  3. Place the lid on the Instant Pot and secure it in its locked position (be sure the vent on the top of the lid is sealed).
  4. Press the manual button to ensure it’s on high pressure and decrease the time to 3.
  5. When the Instant Pot is done, press the “Keep Warm/Cancel” button and unplug the Instant Pot. Let sit for roughly 15 minutes.
  6. Carefully remove the lid and ladle apples into a high powered blender (if there’s a lot of liquid left in the steel bowl, only use half)
  7. Pulse until full combined and smooth.
  8. Enjoy!

Instant Pot Apple Honey Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients

  • 2 pork tenderloins (1 lb each)
  • 2 c diced Pink Lady® Brand apples
  • 1/4 c honey
  • 1 c vegetable broth (or stock)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

All you need is an Instant Pot and 25 minutes and before you know it, you’ll be diving into a savory apple honey pork tenderloin.

Instructions

  1. Mix all dry ingredients together and rub on your tenderloin.
  2. Add the honey, broth or stock to the Instant Pot insert.
  3. Add tenderloins and apples to your Insert Pot insert.
  4. Set on manual for 7 minutes (for a mild pink center) or 10 minutes if you prefer no pink.
  5. Quick release the pressure when the timer goes off.
  6. lice tenderloins into medallions and pour the now apple reduce sauce on top.
  7. Enjoy!

Instant Pot Apple Steel Cut Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 c steel cut oats
  • 2 Piñata® apples, chopped
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 c water
  • 1/4 c brown sugar
  • 1/4 c raisins
  • nutmeg, sprinkle to taste

All you need is an Instant Pot and 25 minutes and before you know it, you’ll be diving into steamy steel cut oatmeal.

Instructions

  1. Turn the Instant Pot to “Sauté.” Melt the butter in the pot and add the oats. Stir until the oats are aromatic (roughly 3 minutes).
  2. Add the apples, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and water. Stir well before closing the lid and cooking on manual, high pressure, for 10 minutes.
  3. Use the quick release.
  4. Turn the Instant Pot off and add the brown sugar and raisins. Stir well.
  5. Enjoy!
