This peach sorbet is the perfect summer treat to cool off with.

Instructions

  1. First, wash the peaches.
  2. Start your simple syrup on the stove by bringing the sugar and water to a boil. Stir often. Once the sugar dissolves completely, remove from the heat.
  3. Then, peel the skin off of 3 of the peaches. Slice the peach into even slices around the pit, and place the slices into your blender. Leave the skin on the remaining 2 peaches. Slice the peach into even slices around the pit and place into your blender.
  4. Add lemon zest and juice (as much or as little as you’d like) to the blender.
  5. Then, pour the simple syrup into the blender pitcher. You may want to wait until it has cooled off. Blend on high speed until the fruit and skin are broken up and you have a juice-like mixture.
  6. Pour the juice mixture into freezer-safe containers. Freeze for 3 plus hours or until solid. Scoop and serve in a bowl. Enjoy!
